Doorways Open as Solar Eclipse Activates.
Dear Family of Light,
Can you feel the energy in the air, Tornados in the US, a master volcano awakes in Ecuador, snow in China and Doorways Open as Solar Eclipse Activates.
As I write we are in the middle of the first eclipse of 2008, a link to the past, in Nov & Aug 07 and the sun -moon dance that triggers ancient codes in the earth's memory and in your spiritual DNA.
The partial solar eclipse on February 7 will find the Moon, at a new Moon phase, passing partially between the Earth and the Sun—as seen in New Zealand and the southeastern parts of Australia. The Moon will hide a portion of the Sun—making it a “partial” eclipse.
Also, in this case, the solar eclipse is called an “annular” eclipse because when the Moon passes in front of the Sun it doesn’t completely hide it (its smaller in apparent size from the Sun).

February brings our first set of Eclipses to bear, magnifying endings and beginnings for each of us. This coinciding on the heels of the recent shift of Mars' forward thrust and Pluto's step into a new sign, will be the true marker of change for the New Year. The new Pluto cycle will not take firm hold until the transformational planet retrogrades and reenters Sagittarius for one final goodbye before moving permanently into his forward motion through Capricorn later in the year. Therefore, you must allow the Eclipses of February to open the future for you. Embrace what moves towards you, release what flows away, for everything is in perfect order.
Keep in mind that Eclipses will show on the date given, plus or minus 5 days, but their influence can also show one month to the date prior or after. These are powerful points and many times have a fated quality to them, changing the course of things for years to come. The Solar Eclipse falls on the 6th East Coast Time, the 7th West Coast Time, the Lunar Eclipse falls on the 20th East Coast Time, 21st West Coast Time, so read for your area. Yes we are in times of change and rearrange. These past few days have been having an amazing experience and feel a paradigm shift going on.
When all seams out of control and the shadows come to remind us of our passion, we dream the new dream to awaken the masses. I use these times of cosmic doorways to heal my past and focus on God. He is the Real Magician, as the Sun of Knowledge dancing with the Goddess Moon. I had a dream of Dadi Prakashmani, who left our world during the Aug 07 eclipse. We know she will be born again and I feel it may be on the next Total Lunar Eclipse of Feb 21. India has been calling me and the film we are doing has a big part with the Rajasthan connection, as this is the place of the real Prophecies.
For me India or Bharata was Atlantis. It is the ancient land and the energy of India is a memory deep in my soul. This weekend I had an interview with Domingo Diaz Porta, founder of MAIS, who mentioned the energy of the Himalayas is now in the Andes and the next 5 years will be critical for humanity.
We search for something in the past. Yet we forget we have all the answers within us. All your searching ends when you find yourself. You don't need to go anywhere, or to look beyond yourself. Just become what you were before. You fill your life with peace when you discover you only have to be yourself, to be what you have always been - a peaceful being filled with the power of the Sun and Moon. Om Shanti!!

The description of the eclipses of sun and moon is followed by the indication of each 12,000 from each of the 12 tribes of Israel. From this the ominous number 144,000 results, a number that we know is very important from the Maya calendar, arising as a result of the combination of duodecimal and decimal system.
Before opening the seventh seal, the elect people are going to be saved:
[Rev 7:17] For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of living water; and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. It is a first allusion to the source of holy water. For the early medieval believers this was the beginning for the search for the holy grail. Later crusades any myth at begin of 2nd millennium this also was a motif. The seventh seal contains the seven trumpets and its opening begins dramatically with silence:
[Rev 8:1] When the Lamb opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.

What else might this celestial woman bear than a new age, like Mary did with Jesus, whose surname was ICHTHYS and who started a new age? And the constellation of Draco is the dragon, the one who wants to eat this newborn child. Astronomically it is easy to explain, because the constellations on the ecliptic (the ages) run like the hours of the clock around the center of the ecliptic North Pole, where the constellation Draco (dragon) is situated. John describes Draco at the pole of the ecliptic, the center of the precession's movement. In his words, the dragon devours the world's ages. This is similar to the Greek myth, where Kronos devoured all of his children, until finally Zeus escaped from him and later conquered his father.
It is interesting that here again 1,260 days are mentioned, the same period as the two prophets who gave their witness. It looks as if it would be the period of time the new age would manifest. The 1260 days also relate to the above-mentioned 42-month period, if each month has exactly 30 days. This might be a clue to a new world calendar with 30 days in each of the 12 months, with some leap days left over, if we remember [Rev 11:2], where this period is first mentioned:
[Rev 11:2] but do not measure the court outside the temple; leave that out, for it is given over to the nations, and they will trample over the holy city for forty-two months.
This looks like a bequest, left by John, in that he does not give any advice on the numbers of the leap days, but leaves it to the nations (pagans), presumably the astronomers, to quarrel about. It could be however be another allusion or repetition of the book of Daniel, who seems to have a model for John. Besides the four zodiacal signs (symbols of the apostles) also Daniel mentions in [Dan 9:27] a period which regards 3 ½ years.
A later sentence mentions the same period, if "times" means a year consisting of 360 days. (3.5 * 360 = 1260). [Rev 12:14] But the woman was given the two wings of the great eagle that she might fly from the serpent into the wilderness, to the place where she is to be nourished for a time, and two times, and half a time. A "time" in this context doubtless means one period of 360 days, so that 3.5 times result in 1260 days.
Next, the archangel Michael fights with the dragon.
[Rev 12:7-9] Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they were defeated and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the Devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world--he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.
This is the famous dragon fight -- which happens at the beginning of many myths -- when Thuban, the Dragon, still represented the polar star (about 6000 years ago). In all of his fights, he was overwhelmed at the beginning, in the legends of Siegfried, Parcifal, Gilgamesh, etc. and finally in that Vienna fairy tale of Casper and the crocodile. The constellation Draco, around which the precessional circle of earth's axis leads the whole zodiac in a wobble around during one full Platonic year, might be a formulation that everyone who knows a bit of astronomy still understands today.
Now in Revelation starts the famous meeting of the two animals:
[Rev 13:1-2] And the dragon stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising out of the sea, with ten horns and seven heads, with ten diadems upon its horns and a blasphemous name upon its heads. And the beast that I saw was like a leopard, its feet were like a bears, and its mouth was like a lion's mouth. And to it the dragon gave his power and his throne and great authority.
[Rev 13:4-6] Men worshiped the dragon, for he had given his authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying, "Who is like the beast, and who can fight against it? And the beast was given a mouth uttering haughty and blasphemous words, and it was allowed to exercise authority for forty-two months; it opened its mouth to utter blasphemies against God, blaspheming his name and his dwelling, that is, those who dwell in heaven.
It is the second time that John has mentioned the lion stepping out of the Sea, meaning in fact the rising of Leo because of the precession. The feet of the bear give us a clue to explain why stepping out of the Sea actually means the rising of a constellation. It is marvellously expressed in the myth of the Greater Bear (part of it is the Big Dipper), Kallisto offended against the holy order, and therefore was thrown into the northern sky. Kallisto (the most beautiful one) was a companion of Artemis, the goddess of the moon. Artemis, goddess of virginity, only allowed virgins to be her companions. Zeus, however had seduced, raped, and impregnated Kallisto. She tried to conceal what had happened and remained, although now pregnant, a companion of the moon goddess, which broke the rule. Pregnant women do not follow the rule of the moon, because they have no female period (menstruation)! As the Greater Bear in the heavens, Kallisto never again can take a bath in the Sea (because it is a circumpolar constellation and never sets). Therefore lovers will never approach her again, because she stinks so badly. And someone who never can take a bath in the Sea also can never step out of the Sea.
Again, at the rising of the lion, the 42 months are mentioned like a legacy of a new calendar. In the Persian Shanameh (14), a similar quote is found at the birth of Kai Chosrau: "From now on new holydays and rules are valid." This birthday is still celebrated on day of spring equinox and is called "Nauroz" (young day).
And then John asks the mysterious question, which has caused the greatest speculations: What is the number of the (first, and wounded by the sword) beast, which Revelation said that the inhabitants of the earth worship?
[Rev 13:11-17] Then I saw another beast which rose out of the earth; it had two horns like a lamb and it spoke like a dragon. It exercises all the authority of the first beast (the lion) in its presence, and makes the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose mortal wound was healed. It works great signs, even making fire come down from heaven to earth in the sight of men; and by the signs which it is allowed to work in the presence of the beast, it deceives those who dwell on earth, bidding them make an image for the beast which was wounded by the sword and yet lived; Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name.
[Rev 13:18] This calls for wisdom: let him who has understanding reckon the number of the beast, for it is a human number, its number is six hundred and sixty-six.
With a little bit of understanding is easily possible to show that the number of the beast (constant of precession) is in fact a number of a man: 1° of the precession represents the approximate length of human lifetime, which in former times was about 66 years and is still retirement age.
As has been shown, Revelation deals with the coming and going of ages due to precession of the equinoxes concerning to the constellations of the zodiac.
The solution to who this beast is follows:

And then John asks the mysterious question, which has caused the greatest speculations: What is the number of the (first, and wounded by the sword) beast, which Revelation said that the inhabitants of the earth worship?
[Rev 13:11-17] Then I saw another beast which rose out of the earth; it had two horns like a lamb and it spoke like a dragon. It exercises all the authority of the first beast (the lion) in its presence, and makes the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose mortal wound was healed. It works great signs, even making fire come down from heaven to earth in the sight of men; and by the signs which it is allowed to work in the presence of the beast, it deceives those who dwell on earth, bidding them make an image for the beast which was wounded by the sword and yet lived; Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name.
[Rev 13:18] This calls for wisdom: let him who has understanding reckon the number of the beast, for it is a human number, its number is six hundred and sixty-six.
With a little bit of understanding is easily possible to show that the number of the beast (constant of precession) is in fact a number of a man: 1° of the precession represents the approximate length of human lifetime, which in former times was about 66 years and is still retirement age.
As has been shown, Revelation deals with the coming and going of ages due to precession of the equinoxes concerning to the constellations of the zodiac.

Rainbow Festival
Dear Family of Light,
Today is the beginning of the New Year for the Inga & Camëntsá people of Putumayo (yage land) in S Colombia and the Festival of Rainbows. When all the colors of the rainbows (or us) unite an arc covers the world... God reminds us of peace after the storm.
Today we had the open and it was amazing. Juliana González, a dear friend and organizer invited me to be part of this special event and we will be showing the latest 16 min. short of Prophecy, Last Message.
Just spent 2 days (12 hr a day) finishing the edit and came out great. Will post soon, as it is 5 gigas and time is of the essence...lots going on. Do you feel it?
This Sunday is the festival for Children, as they are the true rainbows indigo beings of light.
This Festival is also about forgiveness and reconciliation and ties in with massive marches this Monday against kidnapping and the FARC, the oldest guerrilla army in the world.
A prophecy told many moons ago:
"When the Eagle of the North gets together with the Condor of the South, it is time for all the Rainbow Tribes of the world to get together and bring peace upon this world."
We are the rainbow bridge and united we can bring peace to this world. All it takes is love & forgiveness, with a dose of harmony and compassion.

Festival del arco iris
(Celebración en honor a la palabra viva de las profecías indígenas del arco iris)
2-5 de febrero de 2008
Introducción
El festival del arco iris expone diversas propuestas de creación y sanación realizadas por poetas y artistas, mestizos e indígenas, que trabajan por la paz y la unidad entre las diferentes culturas del planeta, a partir de la recuperación de nuestra memoria ancestral, así como de la gestación de sueños compartidos profundamente enraizados en la tierra y armonizados con las leyes de la naturaleza y el universo. Estas propuestas artísticas de carácter social, ambiental y espiritual recuperan, a través de un lenguaje mágico y poético, la Palabra viva de antiguas profecías indígenas de América, recreando a partir de ellas tradiciones ancestrales de nuestro continente como lo son las narraciones míticas, los círculos de la palabra, la danza ritual, los cantos sagrados, la pintura primal y las ceremonias de sanación. Paralelamente a este evento, los indígenas Inga y Camentsä celebran en el Putumayo, entre el 2 y el 5 de febrero, la fiesta del arco iris -“Atun puncha”, o “Gran día del perdón y la reconciliación”-, en conmemoración a los favores recibidos por el Arco Iris y las bondades de la Pacha mama en su cosecha anual de frutos y flores.
Justificación
Diversas profecías indígenas de América –como las profecías maya e inca- coinciden en que la humanidad atraviesa por un tiempo de transición, constituido por muchos cambios y revoluciones en todos los niveles –físico, emocional, espiritual y mental-, tiempo caótico en donde proliferan las crisis y derrumbamientos de antiguos esquemas, hábitos, y formas de vida y de pensamiento que han malacostumbrado al ser humano a vivir en la división, el conflicto y la separatividad; tiempo de grandes transformaciones internas y externas, que está despertando nuestra conciencia a la gran responsabilidad de sanar los desequilibrios que hemos causado a la madre tierra a lo largo de nuestra historia. Este crítico período de transición finalmente nos llevará al restablecimiento de la paz y la unidad original entre todos los seres vivos, instaurando un nuevo tiempo, en el que la tierra ascenderá a una frecuencia más luminosa y armónica en las esferas del universo.
Dentro de estas profecías se destaca la profecía de los indígenas hopi de Norteamérica, la cual predice el nacimiento de una nueva raza, constituida por gente de diferentes razas y culturas, cuya misión principal es recordarle a sus hermanos la esencia original que nos emparienta -más allá de todas las diferencias culturales y sociales-, como una sola familia, integrada no sólo por hombres y mujeres sino por plantas, árboles, animales, montañas, ríos, y todos los demás seres vivos que pueblan el planeta, quienes de manera conjunta y hermanada evolucionamos hacia un estadio superior de vida.
El arte y la poesía cumplen en este contexto un papel determinante, ya que se constituyen en uno de los medios más eficaces para que la nueva raza –denominada la raza del Arco iris- nos reconecte con la unidad original de la cual todos hacemos parte.
En Bogotá, ciudad intercultural y pluriétnica, existen varios jardineros del arco iris, que de manera individual y colectiva están esculpiendo nuevos tiempos y nuevos espacios de creación que se constituyen en caminos de luz hacia el nuevo tiempo que las profecías indígenas predicen. La bibliotecas públicas, lugar de conocimiento y cultura, son un espacio idóneo para propiciar un encuentro entre estos creadores y sus respectivas propuestas así como para vivenciar la encarnación de la palabra viva de las antiguas profecías indígenas que en la actualidad comienzan a cumplirse.
El festival se propone, además, crear una alianza con la fiesta del arco iris que se celebra en el Putumayo, con el fin de dar a conocer esta celebración expandiéndola a la capital.
Objetivo principal
Dar a conocer las propuestas de creación y sanación realizadas por diferentes poetas y artistas, indígenas y mestizos, que rescatan la palabra viva de antiguas profecías indígenas a partir de la recreación de diversas tradiciones ancestrales; en alianza con la fiesta del arco iris que los indígenas Inga y Camentsä celebran paralelamente en el Putumayo.
Contexto histórico
El arco iris en las culturas
El arco iris es un símbolo de paz, reconciliación y unidad en todas las culturas originarias del planeta. En diferentes pueblos nativos se celebran festividades en su honor. Un ejemplo de ello es el “Atun puncha”, o “Gran día del perdón y la reconciliación”, fiesta que celebran en el Putumayo los indígenas Inga y Camëntsá, el mes de febrero de cada año. En el Chilam Balam, libro maya, se menciona la destrucción de uno de sus mundos debido a un diluvio terrible. Terminada la catástrofe, un arco iris apareció como signo que una nueva edad debía comenzar.
Entre los incas, el dios del arco iris se llama Chuychu y es conocido como un sirviente del sol. Entre los mayas, la diosa del arco iris es Ixchel, esposa de Itzamna.
Para los indígenas mojave del desierto de Arizona, el arco iris es una de las cualidades más poderosas del Gran Espíritu y es parte de una hechicería necesaria para detener la lluvia. Asimismo, los yukis de California creen que el arco iris es el vestido multicolor del Gran Espíritu, el creador de toda la existencia
El arco iris es representado, con frecuencia, en las pinturas de arena y en los dibujos sagrados de los zuni, hopi, y los navajo. Para los indígenas shoshone de América del Norte, es una serpiente gigantesca que rasguña su espalda contra el mundo celeste. Este símbolo también aparece en culturas de África, Australia, Asia, entre otras. Su significado siempre se relaciona con buenos augurios, diversidad o nuevos tiempos. (Revista virtual Ser Indígena. La profecía del arco iris
De acuerdo a las profecías del arco iris los colores de las cuatro familias del mundo, rojo, blanco, negro y amarillo, algún día se unirán para crear un mundo mejor y los encargados de esta misión serán los guerreros del arcoiris. Ambos conceptos se reflejan en la cosmovisión de las culturas originarias.
Hoy, se habla del final de la Era de Piscis, de un Pachakuti o de una visión de mundo diferente. Este nuevo tiempo, que implica un cambio radical de conocimiento, la liberación de viejos conceptos de nación, clase, raza y política, ha sido anunciado por diversos autores y muchas culturas indígenas.
En este contexto, ha aparecido el arco iris como símbolo de diferentes movimientos que promueven la ecología, la espiritualidad, la preocupación social, entre muchos otros intereses. Ello da cuenta que los cambios están empezando a producirse.
Del mismo modo, los pueblos originarios comparten una visión del retorno de un espíritu, que traerá armonía y paz al mundo con una mezcla de culturas. Esta visión, que ha ido emergiendo en años recientes, será promovida por “Los Guerreros de Arco iris”.
La profecía del arco iris, significa la promesa de paz entre todas las culturas. El Creador, -dice un abuelo americano-, creó los diferentes colores para que pudiéramos apreciar el signo que encierra el arco iris. Éste es un Gran Principio: que al igual que sólo unidos los diferentes colores hacen un arcoiris, en la diversidad está la fuerza.
Por eso, con el desequilibrio provocado por la destrucción de nuestras tierras y de nuestras fuentes de agua, de nuestras culturas, de nuestros pueblos, en fin, de la gente de todos los lados, indiscriminadamente, la Madre Tierra no puede continuar sosteniendo la vida.
Las grandes profecías, como la de los maya, de los hopi y de muchos otros pueblos ancestrales, predijeron este tiempo -- denominado por los mayas como el Tiempo del Quinto Sol -- en el que los habitantes del Planeta deberán aceptar la necesidad de restituirle el balance a la Madre Tierra, tomando el camino de la sanación, o enfrentar una destrucción terrible. Los temblores, los huracanes y las tormentas que están ocurriendo son muestras de un planeta desequilibrado, lo que está provocando que el poder del Sol Central haga que nuestra estrella, el sol que nos alumbra, transmita poderosas energías que acelerarán este cambio.
La abuela norteamericana Jaime Sams , dice al respecto:
"Rueda del Arco Iris, dadora de vida
con tus lluvias purificadoras
uniendo todos los colores, los Hijos de la Tierra
volverán a andar en Paz.
Rueda del Arco Iris, anuncia que tus Guerreros ya están en pie.
Las hermanas y hermanos en armonía con tu luz en sus ojos.
Rueda del Arco Iris toca nuestros corazones, para que podamos volar.
No solos ni separados, sino uniendo nuestros diferentes colores en el cielo.”
Cuando todos los Caminos que conducen a la Totalidad sean respetados por todos los pueblos, la profecía del Arco estará siendo cumplida.

• Apertura oficial del Festival del arco iris. A cargo de funcionarios del sector público, representantes de la Biblioteca Virgilio Barco y representantes del centro de creación Colibrí de oro.
• Proyección del video documental: “La Fiesta del arco iris, Atun puncha”, producido por la Universidad Nacional de Colombia. Valle del Sibundoy, Putumayo, 2001. Duración: 10 min.
• Charla sobre la historia de los Inga, la fiesta del arco iris y el trabajo artístico de Benjamín Jacanamijoy. Presentación de la exposición de pintura “En el día del arco iris”, la cual se podrá apreciar en los diversos espacios de la Biblioteca Virgilio Barco a lo largo del festival.

• Saludo a los cuatro rumbos y a los tres corazones.
Saludo ritual propio de las tradiciones ancestrales de América, que consiste en saludar a las cuatro direcciones sagradas del universo, con sus respectivos elementos totémicos y simbólicos, así como al corazón de la tierra, el corazón del cielo y el corazón humano. (Se saluda por medio de la palabra poética y de instrumentos de poder).

• Lectura del poema mítico: Los jardineros del arco iris, escrito por Juliana González
Poema mítico inspirado en las profecías indígenas del arco iris y en mitos de creación de diferentes culturas. Este mito ha sido publicado en el libro Entre mundos hermanos, de Juliana González (Editorial Universidad Externado de Colombia, 2008).
Lectura a cargo de Juliana González (poeta, directora del centro de creación artística Colibrí de oro).
“El mito es la narración de cómo los antiguos vivieron y solucionaron las dificultades para vivir mejor; en el mito está el consejo para guiar la vida. El mito es la experiencia de los primeros seres dejada a las futuras generaciones como instrucciones permanentes, que les permiten estar corrigien-do aquello que no se debe hacer y mostrar el verdadero sendero que deben recorrer los hombres; en él subyacen todos los principios éticos y consejos que son enunciados en el momento en que se requieran para solucionar determinada dificultad” .
• Poesía y danza. Representación de los poemas chamánicos: Los jardineros y sus sueños.
En Colombia comenzamos a comprender que nuestra expresión esencial debe surgir desde nuestras raíces y no desde la imitación de modelos foráneos que nos alejan de nuestra verdadera identidad. El arte retorna a la memoria de nuestras culturas populares y ancestrales, creando nuevas corrientes artísticas que fusionan tradiciones culturales propias de nuestra tierra y lenguajes expresivos contemporáneos. En este contexto, la poesía chamánica se presenta como una nueva corriente poética que surge de nuestras raíces indígenas y que se alimenta de nuestra memoria ancestral, recordándonos que la poesía es un lenguaje mágico, festivo y comunitario que sirve para curar, conjurar y bendecir la realidad, y que la palabra poética es palabra dulce, palabra de abundancia, cuyo destino esencial es ser canto, danza, música y celebración.

• Danza sagrada del mito Los jardineros del arco iris. (Danza colectiva)

La llamada Danza Sagrada se asocia con Dios-Diosa en los orígenes, en nuestras civilizaciones más antiguas cuando también se rendía culto y honraba a la Madre Tierra y ella constituye una parte relevante de la cultura, como la manifestación de la presencia interna de la Divinidad, cuando la danza era un rito de identificación con el Creador. Las civilizaciones más primitivas conocían y practicaban la danza como un acto sagrado. Hoy en día se concibe la Danza Sagrada como un instrumento que ha sido regalado al hombre para que capte y canalice las energías del mundo y no se sienta abandonado a su suerte.

Cantos sagrados y mitos en el Tipi.
Al interior del Tipi los niños aprenden cantos sagrados sobre los cuatro elementos y mitos de creación sobre la historia esencial de la humanidad.
El tipi es una tienda cónica, originalmente hecha de pieles de animales como el bisonte y popularizada por los pueblos indígenas de los Estados Unidos de las Grandes Llanuras, pero también han sido construidos y habitados en otras partes geográficas, como es el caso de la gente Timucua en la Florida.
Los tipis podían desmontarse y empacarse cuando la tribu decidía moverse del sitio en
el que se encontraba establecida, y podía ser reconstruida rápidamente una vez que llegaban a su nuevo destino.
Los indígenas de Estados Unidos están estereotípicamente ligados a los tipis, aunque en otras áreas culturales, los indígenas solían construir sus viviendas de un modo muy distinto.

Los niños son maquillados con máscaras representativas de los 4 elementos (Agua, tierra, fuego y aire), para convertirse así en los jardineritos del arco iris.
Durante el taller se enseña a los niños el significado de cada elemento, la manera de cuidarlo, de respetarlo y de interactuar con él.

Todas las cosas existentes han sido creadas por el Gran Espíritu, quien les ha asignado un lugar y un propósito en la creación. También nosotros los seres humanos (los que caminan en dos pies), hemos sido creados con un propósito, con una misión especifica. Las ceremonias, las ruedas de medicina, se realizan con la intención de recrear el orden del universo y recordarnos el lugar que ocupamos y el propósito para el cual hemos sido colocados en esta vida.
El sueño de la salamandra: Amigo, El Lagarto es la Medicina de los soñadores. Es el tiempo de caminar soñando con el Gran Espíritu.
El Lagarto puede estar diciéndote que hagas caso a tus sueños y a sus símbolos, camina con tu corazón y has productivos tus sueños recuerda estar siempre guiado por el Gran Espíritu. El te recuerda el fuego interior que eres y que estas ligado al fuego universal representado por el sol. Soñar es ir al futuro, La sombra es donde viven los sueños, si verdaderamente unes tu corazón y tu mente como Uno Solo, cualquier cosa que pidas así será. Es decir, cualquier cosa que hagas en la vida, haz lo mejor que puedas con tu corazón y con tu mente .Y si lo haces de esa manera, el Poder del Universo vendrá en tu ayuda, si tu corazón y tu mente están Unidos. Cuando uno es miembro del Círculo de la Gente uno debe ser responsable, pues Toda la Creación está relacionada, y el dolor de uno es la herida de todos, y el honor de uno es el honor de todos, y todo lo que hacemos afecta a todo el Universo. Esta es la medicina de la salamandra o la lagartija.

Charla de Ati Quigua, indígena arhuaca, sobre el movimiento cultural “Todos a tierra”, que en palabras de la concejal “Es un movimiento cultural por la tierra que busca, en primer lugar, generar una conciencia por el agua, la tierra, el aire, el sol; vamos a empezar por la recuperación de las cuencas de agua a partir de la cultura indígena y estamos invitando a todas las personas que quieran involucrarse en este movimiento y hacer su aporte. Estamos también muy interesados en que desde el espacio del arte y la cultura se empiece a sembrar la semilla de una sociedad intercultural; el propósito es que a partir del encuentro de las culturas sea posible producir una nueva sociedad, unos nuevos valores, unos nuevos principios donde por su puesto la raíz, el pensamiento y la cultura indígena se tomen como paradigmas universales de la vida, necesarios para la recuperación de la tierra”.

Taller creativo “El artista original”. Meditación de reconexión con el artista original que habita en el interior de cada uno de nosotros. Cada participante expresa en pintura y dibujo lo que vio y sintió en la meditación. Al final se realiza un ritual de sanación por el agua.

Siguiendo la tradición ancestral del mambeadero (tradición propia de las culturas indígenas del Amazonas) se teje la palabra en torno a las profecías indígenas.

Exige disciplinas como el aprender a escuchar, el no discutir, no criticar, o juzgar, no hablar mal de nadie, saber sentarse con una postura corporal precisa, que exprese sentarse espiritualmente bien, esto es estar bien sentado, concentrado en lo que se está haciendo, escuchando e incorporando, es la ciencia de vivir concientemente el momento para extraer toda la profundidad que se puede establecer en el encuentro entre los seres humanos, la profundidad de la verdadera comunicación que en la palabra de los ancianos es permitir que el principio creador se manifieste a través de nosotros mismos.

Diversas profecías indígenas de América –como las profecías maya e inca- coinciden en que la humanidad atraviesa por un tiempo de transición, constituido por muchos cambios y revoluciones en todos los niveles –físico, emocional, espiritual y mental-, tiempo caótico en donde proliferan las crisis y derrumbamientos de antiguos esquemas, hábitos, y formas de vida y de pensamiento que han malacostumbrado al ser humano a vivir en la división, el conflicto y la separatividad; tiempo de grandes transformaciones internas y externas, que está despertando nuestra conciencia a la gran responsabilidad de sanar los desequilibrios que hemos causado a la madre tierra a lo largo de nuestra historia. Este crítico período de transición finalmente nos llevará al restablecimiento de la paz y la unidad original entre todos los seres vivos, instaurando un nuevo tiempo, en el que la tierra ascenderá a una frecuencia más luminosa y armónica en las esferas del universo.
Dentro de estas profecías se destaca la profecía de los indígenas hopi de Norteamérica, la cual predice el nacimiento de una nueva raza, constituida por gente de diferentes razas y culturas, cuya misión principal es recordarle a sus hermanos la esencia original que nos emparienta -más allá de todas las diferencias culturales y sociales-, como una sola familia, integrada no sólo por hombres y mujeres sino por plantas, árboles, animales, montañas, ríos, y todos los demás seres vivos que pueblan el planeta, quienes de manera conjunta y hermanada evolucionamos hacia un estadio superior de vida.
El arte y la poesía cumplen en este contexto un papel determinante, ya que se constituyen en uno de los medios más eficaces para que la nueva raza –denominada la raza del Arco iris- nos reconecte con la unidad original de la cual todos hacemos parte.
En Bogotá, ciudad intercultural y pluriétnica, existen varios jardineros del arco iris, que de manera individual y colectiva están esculpiendo nuevos tiempos y nuevos espacios de creación que se constituyen en caminos de luz hacia el nuevo tiempo que las profecías indígenas predicen. La bibliotecas públicas, lugar de conocimiento y cultura, son un espacio idóneo para propiciar un encuentro entre estos creadores y sus respectivas propuestas así como para vivenciar la encarnación de la palabra viva de las antiguas profecías indígenas que en la actualidad comienzan a cumplirse.
El festival se propone, además, crear una alianza con la fiesta del arco iris que se celebra en el Putumayo, con el fin de dar a conocer esta celebración expandiéndola a la capital.
Objetivo principal
Dar a conocer las propuestas de creación y sanación realizadas por diferentes poetas y artistas, indígenas y mestizos, que rescatan la palabra viva de antiguas profecías indígenas a partir de la recreación de diversas tradiciones ancestrales; en alianza con la fiesta del arco iris que los indígenas Inga y Camentsä celebran paralelamente en el Putumayo.
Contexto histórico
El arco iris en las culturas
El arco iris es un símbolo de paz, reconciliación y unidad en todas las culturas originarias del planeta. En diferentes pueblos nativos se celebran festividades en su honor. Un ejemplo de ello es el “Atun puncha”, o “Gran día del perdón y la reconciliación”, fiesta que celebran en el Putumayo los indígenas Inga y Camëntsá, el mes de febrero de cada año. En el Chilam Balam, libro maya, se menciona la destrucción de uno de sus mundos debido a un diluvio terrible. Terminada la catástrofe, un arco iris apareció como signo que una nueva edad debía comenzar.
Entre los incas, el dios del arco iris se llama Chuychu y es conocido como un sirviente del sol. Entre los mayas, la diosa del arco iris es Ixchel, esposa de Itzamna.
Para los indígenas mojave del desierto de Arizona, el arco iris es una de las cualidades más poderosas del Gran Espíritu y es parte de una hechicería necesaria para detener la lluvia. Asimismo, los yukis de California creen que el arco iris es el vestido multicolor del Gran Espíritu, el creador de toda la existencia
El arco iris es representado, con frecuencia, en las pinturas de arena y en los dibujos sagrados de los zuni, hopi, y los navajo. Para los indígenas shoshone de América del Norte, es una serpiente gigantesca que rasguña su espalda contra el mundo celeste. Este símbolo también aparece en culturas de África, Australia, Asia, entre otras. Su significado siempre se relaciona con buenos augurios, diversidad o nuevos tiempos. (Revista virtual Ser Indígena. La profecía del arco iris
De acuerdo a las profecías del arco iris los colores de las cuatro familias del mundo, rojo, blanco, negro y amarillo, algún día se unirán para crear un mundo mejor y los encargados de esta misión serán los guerreros del arcoiris. Ambos conceptos se reflejan en la cosmovisión de las culturas originarias.
Hoy, se habla del final de la Era de Piscis, de un Pachakuti o de una visión de mundo diferente. Este nuevo tiempo, que implica un cambio radical de conocimiento, la liberación de viejos conceptos de nación, clase, raza y política, ha sido anunciado por diversos autores y muchas culturas indígenas.
En este contexto, ha aparecido el arco iris como símbolo de diferentes movimientos que promueven la ecología, la espiritualidad, la preocupación social, entre muchos otros intereses. Ello da cuenta que los cambios están empezando a producirse.
Del mismo modo, los pueblos originarios comparten una visión del retorno de un espíritu, que traerá armonía y paz al mundo con una mezcla de culturas. Esta visión, que ha ido emergiendo en años recientes, será promovida por “Los Guerreros de Arco iris”.
La profecía del arco iris, significa la promesa de paz entre todas las culturas. El Creador, -dice un abuelo americano-, creó los diferentes colores para que pudiéramos apreciar el signo que encierra el arco iris. Éste es un Gran Principio: que al igual que sólo unidos los diferentes colores hacen un arcoiris, en la diversidad está la fuerza.
Por eso, con el desequilibrio provocado por la destrucción de nuestras tierras y de nuestras fuentes de agua, de nuestras culturas, de nuestros pueblos, en fin, de la gente de todos los lados, indiscriminadamente, la Madre Tierra no puede continuar sosteniendo la vida.
Las grandes profecías, como la de los maya, de los hopi y de muchos otros pueblos ancestrales, predijeron este tiempo -- denominado por los mayas como el Tiempo del Quinto Sol -- en el que los habitantes del Planeta deberán aceptar la necesidad de restituirle el balance a la Madre Tierra, tomando el camino de la sanación, o enfrentar una destrucción terrible. Los temblores, los huracanes y las tormentas que están ocurriendo son muestras de un planeta desequilibrado, lo que está provocando que el poder del Sol Central haga que nuestra estrella, el sol que nos alumbra, transmita poderosas energías que acelerarán este cambio.
La abuela norteamericana Jaime Sams , dice al respecto:
"Rueda del Arco Iris, dadora de vida
con tus lluvias purificadoras
uniendo todos los colores, los Hijos de la Tierra
volverán a andar en Paz.
Rueda del Arco Iris, anuncia que tus Guerreros ya están en pie.
Las hermanas y hermanos en armonía con tu luz en sus ojos.
Rueda del Arco Iris toca nuestros corazones, para que podamos volar.
No solos ni separados, sino uniendo nuestros diferentes colores en el cielo.”
Cuando todos los Caminos que conducen a la Totalidad sean respetados por todos los pueblos, la profecía del Arco estará siendo cumplida.

• Apertura oficial del Festival del arco iris. A cargo de funcionarios del sector público, representantes de la Biblioteca Virgilio Barco y representantes del centro de creación Colibrí de oro.
• Proyección del video documental: “La Fiesta del arco iris, Atun puncha”, producido por la Universidad Nacional de Colombia. Valle del Sibundoy, Putumayo, 2001. Duración: 10 min.
• Charla sobre la historia de los Inga, la fiesta del arco iris y el trabajo artístico de Benjamín Jacanamijoy. Presentación de la exposición de pintura “En el día del arco iris”, la cual se podrá apreciar en los diversos espacios de la Biblioteca Virgilio Barco a lo largo del festival.

• Saludo a los cuatro rumbos y a los tres corazones.
Saludo ritual propio de las tradiciones ancestrales de América, que consiste en saludar a las cuatro direcciones sagradas del universo, con sus respectivos elementos totémicos y simbólicos, así como al corazón de la tierra, el corazón del cielo y el corazón humano. (Se saluda por medio de la palabra poética y de instrumentos de poder).

Poema mítico inspirado en las profecías indígenas del arco iris y en mitos de creación de diferentes culturas. Este mito ha sido publicado en el libro Entre mundos hermanos, de Juliana González (Editorial Universidad Externado de Colombia, 2008).

“El mito es la narración de cómo los antiguos vivieron y solucionaron las dificultades para vivir mejor; en el mito está el consejo para guiar la vida. El mito es la experiencia de los primeros seres dejada a las futuras generaciones como instrucciones permanentes, que les permiten estar corrigien-do aquello que no se debe hacer y mostrar el verdadero sendero que deben recorrer los hombres; en él subyacen todos los principios éticos y consejos que son enunciados en el momento en que se requieran para solucionar determinada dificultad” .
• Poesía y danza. Representación de los poemas chamánicos: Los jardineros y sus sueños.
En Colombia comenzamos a comprender que nuestra expresión esencial debe surgir desde nuestras raíces y no desde la imitación de modelos foráneos que nos alejan de nuestra verdadera identidad. El arte retorna a la memoria de nuestras culturas populares y ancestrales, creando nuevas corrientes artísticas que fusionan tradiciones culturales propias de nuestra tierra y lenguajes expresivos contemporáneos. En este contexto, la poesía chamánica se presenta como una nueva corriente poética que surge de nuestras raíces indígenas y que se alimenta de nuestra memoria ancestral, recordándonos que la poesía es un lenguaje mágico, festivo y comunitario que sirve para curar, conjurar y bendecir la realidad, y que la palabra poética es palabra dulce, palabra de abundancia, cuyo destino esencial es ser canto, danza, música y celebración.

La llamada Danza Sagrada se asocia con Dios-Diosa en los orígenes, en nuestras civilizaciones más antiguas cuando también se rendía culto y honraba a la Madre Tierra y ella constituye una parte relevante de la cultura, como la manifestación de la presencia interna de la Divinidad, cuando la danza era un rito de identificación con el Creador. Las civilizaciones más primitivas conocían y practicaban la danza como un acto sagrado. Hoy en día se concibe la Danza Sagrada como un instrumento que ha sido regalado al hombre para que capte y canalice las energías del mundo y no se sienta abandonado a su suerte.

Cantos sagrados y mitos en el Tipi.
Al interior del Tipi los niños aprenden cantos sagrados sobre los cuatro elementos y mitos de creación sobre la historia esencial de la humanidad.
El tipi es una tienda cónica, originalmente hecha de pieles de animales como el bisonte y popularizada por los pueblos indígenas de los Estados Unidos de las Grandes Llanuras, pero también han sido construidos y habitados en otras partes geográficas, como es el caso de la gente Timucua en la Florida.
Los tipis podían desmontarse y empacarse cuando la tribu decidía moverse del sitio en
el que se encontraba establecida, y podía ser reconstruida rápidamente una vez que llegaban a su nuevo destino.
Los indígenas de Estados Unidos están estereotípicamente ligados a los tipis, aunque en otras áreas culturales, los indígenas solían construir sus viviendas de un modo muy distinto.

Los niños son maquillados con máscaras representativas de los 4 elementos (Agua, tierra, fuego y aire), para convertirse así en los jardineritos del arco iris.
Durante el taller se enseña a los niños el significado de cada elemento, la manera de cuidarlo, de respetarlo y de interactuar con él.

(Ceremonia ancestral)
Todas las cosas existentes han sido creadas por el Gran Espíritu, quien les ha asignado un lugar y un propósito en la creación. También nosotros los seres humanos (los que caminan en dos pies), hemos sido creados con un propósito, con una misión especifica. Las ceremonias, las ruedas de medicina, se realizan con la intención de recrear el orden del universo y recordarnos el lugar que ocupamos y el propósito para el cual hemos sido colocados en esta vida.
El sueño de la salamandra: Amigo, El Lagarto es la Medicina de los soñadores. Es el tiempo de caminar soñando con el Gran Espíritu.
El Lagarto puede estar diciéndote que hagas caso a tus sueños y a sus símbolos, camina con tu corazón y has productivos tus sueños recuerda estar siempre guiado por el Gran Espíritu. El te recuerda el fuego interior que eres y que estas ligado al fuego universal representado por el sol. Soñar es ir al futuro, La sombra es donde viven los sueños, si verdaderamente unes tu corazón y tu mente como Uno Solo, cualquier cosa que pidas así será. Es decir, cualquier cosa que hagas en la vida, haz lo mejor que puedas con tu corazón y con tu mente .Y si lo haces de esa manera, el Poder del Universo vendrá en tu ayuda, si tu corazón y tu mente están Unidos. Cuando uno es miembro del Círculo de la Gente uno debe ser responsable, pues Toda la Creación está relacionada, y el dolor de uno es la herida de todos, y el honor de uno es el honor de todos, y todo lo que hacemos afecta a todo el Universo. Esta es la medicina de la salamandra o la lagartija.

Charla de Ati Quigua, indígena arhuaca, sobre el movimiento cultural “Todos a tierra”, que en palabras de la concejal “Es un movimiento cultural por la tierra que busca, en primer lugar, generar una conciencia por el agua, la tierra, el aire, el sol; vamos a empezar por la recuperación de las cuencas de agua a partir de la cultura indígena y estamos invitando a todas las personas que quieran involucrarse en este movimiento y hacer su aporte. Estamos también muy interesados en que desde el espacio del arte y la cultura se empiece a sembrar la semilla de una sociedad intercultural; el propósito es que a partir del encuentro de las culturas sea posible producir una nueva sociedad, unos nuevos valores, unos nuevos principios donde por su puesto la raíz, el pensamiento y la cultura indígena se tomen como paradigmas universales de la vida, necesarios para la recuperación de la tierra”.

Taller creativo “El artista original”. Meditación de reconexión con el artista original que habita en el interior de cada uno de nosotros. Cada participante expresa en pintura y dibujo lo que vio y sintió en la meditación. Al final se realiza un ritual de sanación por el agua.

Círculo de la palabra
Siguiendo la tradición ancestral del mambeadero (tradición propia de las culturas indígenas del Amazonas) se teje la palabra en torno a las profecías indígenas.

“Mambear, es buscar el encuentro con La Palabra. Exige disciplinas como el aprender a escuchar, el no discutir, no criticar, o juzgar, no hablar mal de nadie, saber sentarse con una postura corporal precisa, que exprese sentarse espiritualmente bien, esto es estar bien sentado, concentrado en lo que se está haciendo, escuchando e incorporando, es la ciencia de vivir concientemente el momento para extraer toda la profundidad que se puede establecer en el encuentro entre los seres humanos, la profundidad de la verdadera comunicación que en la palabra de los ancianos es permitir que el principio creador se manifieste a través de nosotros mismos.

A cargo de diferentes poetas y cantores, mestizos e indígenas, que aborden en su poesía y en sus cantos los temas de la interculturalidad, la memoria ancestral, la comunión con la naturaleza y el retorno al corazón de la Tierra.
