Words 2 Heal & Chasing God Panel Miami Oct 3

Dear Family of Light,

OK, Who has been feeling a little bit stressed these days? Little sleep at night?

Like a million things 2 do and all by 5 pm. I heard U, yes u are not alone. This is the power of an Eclipse and the sun shifting. Our inner sun is being awakened and whatever drama, karma, illness, sadness or plain confusion must be breathed out of your energy field.

Imagine a white hole of love in your solar plexus, breathe real deep, yes deeper fill the bottom part of your lungs. as u chant ommm...breathe out all the pain, past and pollution. Mind junk and useless thoughts. Train your mind to think only positive thoughts, imagine a river in the back of your mind and all thoughts that don’t bring happiness and power, let it go out the river. Flow and breathe love, peace and joy...this is the secret of living in the now and seeing the cycle of time in 1 second.

Imagine if u can see your whole soul life from the beginning of time to now...all in a 5 min movie...what will u feel? Master or slave?

So who is more powerful? Your mind or the cancer, your soul or the war going on? Your Divine Intellect or emotional garbage? Mind, Intellect and Sanskaras or sub-conscious personality traits, these are our weapons to heal the soul and those around us. Love, Forgive, Compassion and Flow Like a River. We all are chasing after desires and some are chasing after God, the Ocean of Peace.

Which brings me to this spiritual program we are putting together here in Sunny South Florida. Sorry real Hot Miami, today was 90+. And to think this winter we will have record breaking cold....the extremes of nature.

So if u are in Miami and need to be De-Stressed, check out Oct 3 and 4th a panel about Chasing God. Oct 4 at Colombian Consulate, Spanish program is called Avanzar, Senderos Hacia el Crecimiento Personal, or Advance into Pathways of Personal Growth. All is free and open to everyone.

Background on Film

Chasing God

Narrated by award winning comedian Dawn French (“The Vicar of Dibley”), this thought provoking film addresses a subject matter rarely tackled: Why do humans believe in a Higher Power? By interviewing scientists, atheists and religious leaders from diverse faiths, this groundbreaking documentary explores the motivations of humankind to believe in something bigger and more powerful than itself. Traveling the world and asking poignant questions of its subjects, Chasing God is able to look at the relevancy of God in today’s harsh world.

Today, we see the very existence of humanity being threatened. Human beings are at war with each other, able to unleash devastating weapons that can wipe out entire countries. Violence is being mooted as a solution to the need for peace and protection, and many people feel powerless to influence outcomes. New prayer and meditation websites and groups are popping up daily in a desperate attempt for divine intervention.

It has always been true that when we human beings are afraid or in pain we reach out for a Power greater than our own. Perhaps never before in the history of the world has the sound of God’s name been so loudly heard from people of all cultures and religions at the same time. Beliefs about God have divided humanity, yet this documentary seeks to highlight a paradoxical unifying principle that may lie well beyond the divisive interpretations of God.

While science cannot prove or disprove the existence of God, ultimately it is either a universal truth or a mass delusion. In the absence of any verifiable proof, what we are then left with are personal experiences.

This documentary spotlights the most controversial yet elusive figure in recorded history. No one else has been the subject of such hotly contested debate, disagreement and wars.

Produced and Directed by Lenny de Vries.

Lenny de Vries comes from a professional Theatre and Performing Arts background. Lenny was the founder, director and producer of Inazuma Performances, touring 4 major works over 6 years to Japan, Holland, U.K., India, Chile, Thailand and Australia. She has taught directing at Melbourne University, The Victorian College of the Arts and La Trobe University in Melbourne and The College of the Arts in Utrecht, Holland. In 1999 Lenny moved into filmmaking directing and producing the short film ‘A Faint Reality’ released in Melbourne in 1999. She has currently completed 25 short films for a DVD titled ‘Banga Yinkorrobun / Catching Dreams’ to be distributed to Indigenous communities all over Australia.

Annular Solar Eclipse Today

Dear Family of Light,

Today is the day!! Annular Solar Eclipse and a Portal of God's Love over the Earth. A good time to be in Silence and Remembering the Supreme.

Quite a Celestial event with the Equinox on Satuarday, Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year and Day of Remembrance on the New Moon the 22nd and finishing up the Partial Eclipse of the Moon of Sept 7th, then we have a Mercury transit Nov 8, 2006...So be ready for the unexpected and sudden flashes of inspiration. My feeling is God is very present at work in an incognito way and soon people wil be seeing signs in the sky.

EQUAL NIGHT: On Saturday, Sept. 23rd (0403 UT), 11:03 pm EST the sun crosses the celestial equator, marking the autumnal equinox--the first day of northern autumn. Equinox means equal night. With the sun on the celestial equator, Earthlings will experience 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness. It's also the beginning of aurora season!

SOLAR ECLIPSE: There's an annular solar eclipse today, Friday, Sept. 22nd. It begins at 0948 UT , 04:48 am EST when the sun, not an orb but a ring, rises over Surinam and Guyana:

Greatest Eclipse will be at 11:40:11 UT or 6:40:11 am EST

Annular eclipses occur when the Moon passes straight in front of the sun but fails to cover the entire solar disk. A sliver of sun pokes out in all directions producing a ring of fire.

Unfortunately, almost all of Friday's eclipse takes place over uninhabited ocean. The narrow red line in this map traces the "path of annularity." After leaving French Guiana, it touches nothing solid for thousands of miles. Only in the tiniest countries of South America will the ring of fire be visible from land.

Elsewhere, the sun will appear as a crescent, a result of the Moon crossing off-center. In Brazil and Argentina, people will experience a crescent sunrise. Later in the day, crescent sunbeams will dapple the ground in Africa. None of the eclipse will be visible from North America, Europe or Asia. More information:

Equinox --Sept. 23rd (0403 UT), = 11:03 pm EST

The name "Rosh Hashanah" refers to the holiday as Yom Ha-Zikkaron (the day of remembrance) or Yom Teruah (the day of the sounding of the shofar). The holiday is instituted in Leviticus 23:24-25.
The festival of Rosh Hashanah --the name means "Head of the Year" --is observed for two days beginning on Tishrei 1, the first day of the Jewish year. It is the anniversary of the creation of Adam and Eve, the first man and woman, and their first actions toward the realization of mankind's role in God's world.

So enjoy the time we are in, forgive and forget and be a Star of Peace. Om Shanti.

The Meeting of Elders, Kogi Hopi , Last Message

The Meeting of Elders

Kogi ~ Hopi ~ Last Message

Synopsis

Deep in the one of the highest coastal mountain of the world, the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Colombia, live an ancient tribe that was never conquered by the Spaniards. They call themselves the Kogi or Kagabba which means { The People }. They are still governed by a society of Priests or Mamas, who still use the 5000-year old tradition of Aluna. They know the future and have knowledge of the beginning of time. They have a prophecy that one day they will come to meet with the Eagle of the North.

Another ancient tribe, the Hopi also have a prophecy of the Eagle and the Condor. It is written that when the Eagle of the North unites with the Condor of the South, it symbolizes we are One Hand and the time has come for the Rainbow tribes around the world to unite to bring Peace to Earth.

The problem is the Kogi are slowly disappearing and no one knows it…. The Hopi are also sending messages that time is near and the world will soon enter the 5th World.

The Meeting of Elders is a historic cultural exchange, a chance to record the wisdom and knowledge of the Elders and a fulfillment of a prophecy told many years ago.

We the Kogis are the Elder Brother, our Teachings say if our Mountain dies…

the World will die…

We must be the Peace and Hope for this World.
- Mama Gabriel Alimako with Emerson Jackson, Dine Elder

We believe the world is ready to hear the Global Vision and Ecological Warning expressed by "The Elder Brother” the Kogi and our Eagle Brothers.

In the Heart of the World there exists a memory to be shared,

the Kogi’s have a message…Are you willing to listen?

Objective

TLATOKAN ATLAHUAK DECLARATION 4th Water Forum Mexico 2006

TLATOKAN ATLAHUAK DECLARATION

Declaration of the Indigenous Peoples Parallel Forum of the 4th World Water Forum

Mexico City, Mexico

March 17-18, 2006

  1. We, representatives of Indigenous Peoples and organizations of Mexico, the Americas and other continents of the world participating in the Indigenous Forum parallel to the 4th World Water Forum, declare our solidarity with the Indigenous Peoples of Mexico and their struggle for their ancestral territories and natural resources of which water is a primordial element. For all Indigenous Peoples of the world, water is the source of material, cultural and spiritual life.

  1. We, international representatives, appreciate the welcome that has been extended to us by the Indigenous Peoples of Mexico. We especially appreciate the opening ceremony of our forum, conducted by the traditional governor of the Yaqui tribe and our Mazahuas relatives.

  1. We reaffirm the Indigenous Peoples Kyoto Water Declaration of the 3rd World Water Forum of Kyoto, Japan of March 2003. It recognizes our relation with our Mother Earth and our responsibility to future generations. We raise our voices in solidarity and proclaim the responsibility to protect and defend water. We have been placed upon this earth, each in our own traditional sacred land and territory to care for all of creation and water.

  1. We reaffirm the same Declaration to honor and respect water as a sacred being that sustains all life. Our traditional knowledge, laws and forms of life teach us to be responsible and caring for this sacred gift that connects all life.

  1. We reaffirm that the relationship we have with our lands, territories and water constitute the physical, cultural and spiritual basis of our existence. The relationship with our Mother Earth obligates us to conserve our fresh water and seas for the survival of present and future generations. We assume our roles as guardians, with rights and responsibilities that defend and guarantee the protection, availability and purity of water. We unite to respect and implement our traditional knowledge and laws, and to exercise our right of self determination to preserve water and life.

  1. The situation of the Indigenous Peoples of Mexico makes it even more clear that the struggle for our water is tied fundamentally with our struggle for our right of self determination. This is the case of our Yaqui relatives, the Otomí, Ñahñahú, Matlazinca, Mazahua, Tlahuica and Nahuas of the Alto Río Lerma; of our relatives of Xochipas, of Xochimilco of Tecámac, of Xoxocotla Morelos; and as with our relatives of the Sierra de Manantlán and Ayotitlán in Jalisco; and other Indigenous Peoples of the world.

  1. Mexico and countries that are accomplices of the multinational corporations, violate with impunity the human rights and fundamental freedoms that they themselves have consecrated in the Covenants, Conventions and Declarations of the United Nations and the Organization of American States.

  1. We assert our right of development determined by our own laws and traditional authorities, consistent with our values and world view.

  1. Our lands, territories and natural resources, particularly our water (rivers, springs, wells, lakes, groundwater) continue to be stolen or ruined with extreme pollution. The water multinationals, with the support of the international finance agencies like the World Bank and the Interamerican Development Bank are accomplices in the privatization of our territories and our water. This creates a scarcity of water raising its economic value and furthering the view of water as an object of commerce.

  1. We reject the neoliberal model of life that views water as merchandise, not as a public good, or a fundamental human right. Agencies such as the World Trade Organization promote privatization projects of our vital liquid. This destroys flora and fauna and consequently creates sicknesses like cancer, even among youth, as well as the disappearance of our cultures.

  1. As Indigenous Peoples, we assert in all the national and international laws, the right of self determination and the recognition of our territories. We assert our autonomy in the use and enjoyment of our natural resources such as water, as a human right. We demand this recognition for our own customs and laws and oral traditions.

  1. We demand from the national authorities and multilateral institutions such as the United Nations and Organization of American States and the governmental participants of the 4th World Water Forum, the full participation of Indigenous Peoples in any project or action of water management and development in our territories. We demand the guarantee of the right of free, prior and informed consent as is established by international law.

  1. We declare our solidarity with the struggle of the Indigenous Peoples of Mexico and other parts of the world who have come to this forum to condemn authorities that don’t resolve conflict nor guarantee the supply of water, but repress those who struggle to defend water; including energy and mining companies that consume and poison our Mother Earth and water and poisoning all Life.

  1. We recognize the work of the communities that promote their own peoples. We recognize communities, organizations, universities and committed academicians who protect, defend and recuperate water as a right of all beings.

  1. We call upon all Indigenous Peoples to organize and form committees for the defense of water and that it be a basis of all of our struggles to obtain the full recognition and absolute enjoyment of our territories and natural resources.

  1. We demand that the Mexican government and its States immediately incorporate mechanisms for recognition of the rights of its Indigenous Peoples in water and public policy as affirmed by international treaties and agreements.

  1. We denounce the structure of the World Water Forum for being financially prohibitive, which excludes the very Indigenous Peoples who are impacted. We denounce the format of the World Water Forum for denying the legitimacy of the indigenous world and spiritual vision of the sacredness of water.

México, D.F. March 18th, 2006.

Sun Awkens During Eclipse

Daar Family of Light,

What a weekend!! First, Earth Dance at Moksha Family and The Womb went live in 4 cities, see www.thewomb.com and www.earthdance.org ~ Music that heals and dancing 4 life.

Then the Jam program in London live to 100 plus countries, amazing to see the world unite for just a minute. www.just-a-minute.org

Now we have the Solar Eclipse coming this 22 with the Equinox to match....so hold on tight and be a light.

This time we are in is like a vortex and great power to use from beyond this world.

How the Sun is Awakened. In 2006 we had 3 major solar event...and now this one on 22.

* 2006 Mar 14: Penumbral Lunar Eclipse

* 2006 Mar 29: Total Solar Eclipse

* 2006 Sep 07: Partial Lunar Eclipse

* 2006 Sep 22: Annular Solar Eclipse

The March Eclipses, ties into the eclipses of 2005~~

* 2005 Apr 08: Hybrid Solar Eclipse

* 2005 Apr 24: Penumbral Lunar Eclipse

* 2005 Oct 03: Annular Solar Eclipse

* 2005 Oct 17: Partial Lunar Eclipse

So is the earth and the universe changing and is the sun be awakened...only time will tell. This article is dotted with extra quotes from me and my ideas on the inner reality of cosmic light.

On Friday, 2006 September 22, an annular eclipse of the Sun will be visible from within a narrow corridor which traverses half the Earth.

Be ready to see the dark and light merge into one, partial light in the soul and connecting to the dreams of the past. Codes awake and earth moves to the side...

The path of the Moon's antumbral shadow begins in northern South America, Guyana just misses Chavez and crosses the South Atlantic with no further landfall. But smack in the center of the Atlantic is the full effect. Talk about Atlantis being activated...

A partial eclipse will be seen from a much larger region including South America, the eastern Caribbean, western Africa, and Antarctica.

The path of the annular eclipse begins in Guyana at 09:48 UT when the Moon's antumbral shadow meets Earth and forms a 323 kilometre wide corridor. Guyana's capitol city Georgetown lies just a few kilometres outside the path's northern limit. Here, a magnitude 0.920 partial eclipse will be seen at sunrise. On the central line 160 kilometres south, the duration of annularity is 5 minutes 31 seconds .

Rushing east, the antumbra quickly enters Surinam where its capital city Paramaribo lies deep within the antumbral path. Maximum eclipse in Paramaribo occurs at 09:51 UT, the Sun's altitude is 5° and the duration of annularity is 5 minutes 1 seconds. Continuing into French Guiana, the capitol city Cayenne stands just 10 kilometres south of the central line. Maximum eclipse occurs at 09:53 UT as the Sun stands 8° above the eastern horizon during an annular phase lasting 5 minutes 42 seconds.

The southern edge of the antumbra briefly clips the north coast of Brazil before spending the next three and a half hours sweeping across the South Atlantic. Greatest eclipse occurs at 11:40:11 UT. The annular duration is 7 minutes 9 seconds, the path width is 261 kilometres and the Sun is 66° above the featureless horizon of the open ocean. The central track runs south of the African continent and nearly reaches Kerguelen Island before ending at local sunset (13:31 UT). During its 3 hour 40 minute flight across our planet, the Moon's antumbra travels about 13,800 kilometres and covers 0.83% of Earth's surface area.

http://sunearth.gsfc.nasa.gov/eclipse/OH/LC/LC2006-4.html

Partial phases of the eclipse are visible primarily from South America and Africa. The Sun's altitude and azimuth, the eclipse magnitude and obscuration are all given at the instant of maximum eclipse.

This is the 16th eclipse of Saros 144. The series began with the first of eight partial eclipses on 1736 Apr 11. The first central eclipse was annular in the Southern Hemisphere on 1880 Jul 07. The series will produce 39 annular eclipses the last of which is 2565 Aug 27. The series terminates on 2980 May 05 after 23 more partial eclipses. Now this is from NASA and I dont think we will be around in 2565. If the Mayan calendar ends in 2012, then a new cycle will begin and time will be different and our mids much more pure to understand the stars.

Complete details for Saros 144 may be found at:

Interactive Map of the Path of Annularity

An implementation of Google Map has been created which includes the central path of the 2006 annular solar eclipse. This allows the user to sellect any portion of the path and to zoom in using either map data or Earth satellite data.

I was invited to a retreat in the Colombia mountians and my life has never been the same. My mom says if it was not for the BKs , I would be dead by now....maybe she is right.

We are not here to convert you to any religion or worship any human being. We just open our hearts and share a truth deep inside everyone. You are a peaceful soul now, a point of divine light...maybe u just forgot and someone has to remind u...

So look inside and ask yourself, do you need a spiritual vacation?

Make Your Life a Work of Art

December 8 - 10 (Friday - Sunday)
As spiritual beings, we are all naturally creative. Even in the most mundane activities we can experience beauty and joy by simply cultivating an awareness of our spiritual identity. This retreat will explore the intimate relationship between creativity and spirituality. True creativity is always benevolent and requires that I truly know myself. Using a variety of creative techniques including the simple yet powerful tool of meditation, participants will be guided to explore and experience their "spiritual reality". Only by knowing who we truly are can we realize our immense intrinsic value and allow it to become the well-spring for creating all our actions. Join us and discover how spiritual awareness can make every moment of your life a work of art - the ultimate creative experience!

Women's Retreat
SHINING UP THE STAR YOU ARE BY TAKING EXCELLENT CARE OF YOURSELF
December 8 - 10 (Friday - Sunday)
A degree of understanding is required in caring for anything, whether it be the self, others, or the world. Women are good at taking care of others. A wise woman cares for herself, knowing that the road to selflessness is paved with self-fullness. Caring generously for others can only be sustained by taking excellent care of yourself -- shining on one's own heart those gentle qualities of mercy, kindness, forgiveness, and generosity. This workshop will explore the role that self-respect and courage play in emerging the wisdom to care for oneself. Participants will have the opportunity to spend precious time recognizing and honoring their own immense intrinsic value. The more we each learn to value our own unique contributions to the world, the more we can each give ourselves permission to be spiritually, emotionally, even physically pampered without guilt. Then, our true caring nature will shine -- automatically.
