Dear Friends of Airline Ambassadors,

I have been a member of this outstanding NGO for more than 9 years and it is a blessing to see them grow. I have helped in media relations and Nancy is an example of a tireless server. Now NBC news will show the wonders this organizations does.

We cordially invite you to watch your favorite non-profit on the NBC
Nightly News on Friday, February 16th at 6:30pm Eastern, 5:30pm
Central! Additionally, thanks to Peter Greenberg, who is mentioning
AAI on his Travel Segment on the Today Show at 9:36am Eastern! This
media attention gives us a chance to highlight all the good that has
come from your generous support, hard work, and dedication to children
around the world. Get those recorders ready and spread the word
because this is an opportunity to reach out to interested individuals
and you won't want to miss that.

Also, following the broadcast, we will unveil our new website! We're
keeping the same address (www.airlineamb.org), but re-vamping the
entire site to make it more user friendly (not to mention stylish) so
that we can further connect resource to need.

So What is our Mission, Vision and Background ?

Mission

Airline Ambassadors provides humanitarian aid to children and families in need as well as international relief and development to underprivileged communities throughout the world.

Vision

Our vision is to amplify avenues of kindness and compassion through travel and bring long-term benefit to children and families in the developing world. By providing opportunities for travelers to become a living link and matching resource to need; we increase sharing, understanding and goodwill between peoples and cultures. Our goal is to substantively improve the lives of those in need and provide opportunities for ordinary people to be of extraordinary service to one another.

Background

Airline Ambassadors was founded by American Airlines flight attendant Nancy Rivard in 1996. Her extensive travel led to a love for the global community and a desire to help children.
