I met Mamo( Elder) Luis Guillermo Izquierdo in Bogota last year and it was a blessing. You can see in his eyes that something is going on at a very deep level.
They sense the destruction younger brother has caused and now they have to come down from the sacred ceremonial sites to teach the lost wisdom.
The Mamos from the Sierra have been given the responsibility to keep the World in Balance. Now Nature is out of balance, man is at war and the prophecies are coming true.
Colombia was rich in Gold, more than you can ever imagine. Some is still to be found but much has been stolen, sold or in museum displays. Thanks to the hard work or the Banco de la Republica...some of our lost treasures can be seen and valued.
These people were very advanced and the work speaks for itself. And this is just one culture out of more than 70 in Colombia.
Below is the email from the Museo de Oro.
A unique collection of golden masterpieces!
The Banco de la República Gold Museum, in Bogota, Colombia, displays an extraordinary selection of its pre-Hispanic goldwork collection - the biggest in the world. Together with other pottery, stone, shell, wood and textile archaeological objects, these items testify to the life and thought of different societies which inhabited what is now known as Colombia before contact was made with Europe.

Luis Guillermo Izquierdo, Mamo comunidad Ika

I heard this was a great museum, but wasn't all that excited about it. Wow, was I wrong. This museum was modern and first class. The incredible amount of history and breadth of artifacts on display was just amazing. We also liked how it was educational, but didn't bombard you with information either. Highly recommended.
