82 Golf Balls in 60 Secs...that’s Fast!!

82 Golf Balls in 60 Secs...that’s Fast!!

Yes you read it right, I have just seen the fastest golfer in the world, Ogie and he is on the Miracle Golf Tour www.miraclegolftour.org to raise money for Airline Ambassadors and The Children’s Cancer Society.

As many of you know (or don't know) I have been the media director for Airline Ambassadors www.airlineamb.org for more than 7 years. I met the founder, Nancy Rivard in Washington DC as we (7 people in a car) were heading to the White House for a meeting with Native Elders. It was during the One Prayer event in 1997 www.oneprayer.org and Nancy was talking about a humanitarian mission to Colombia. She need someone to help and was looking for press coverage.....So I said "I am from Colombia and what do you need?" Open your mouth change your world.

Well that trip to an orphanage in Bogota changed my life forever. It was the first time these kids, some deformed had a Christmas Party. And here we were these gringos, a Colombian Corporate guy ( I worked at Ford then) and some pretty flight attendants along with my cousins creating a party and giving gifts and toys donated by a school in NY.

It was amazing and such an joy. Something so small as a smile and these kids would light up like a Christmas tree. Since then Airline Ambassadors has grown and the work they are doing is a gift to humanity.
Last week I get an email from Nancy and she says this Golfer, David "Ogie" Ogron is raising money for kids and want to hit a million balls in a tour.

Sounds like fun to me. We exchange emails and I put together a press release from some that we got from David and yesterday, July 6th David or "Ogie" breaks his own world record of 72 balls and hits 82 golf balls in 60 seconds!! It was amazing and the crowd at the Florida Marlins game went crazy. Every was applauding and you could feel the electricity in the air. Also the Marlins won that night!

Ogie is doing this tour from his heart and has T-Shirts available for sale as well as Tracer Twilight Golf that blink on and off. They are a kid pleaser and all for a good cause.

See the release below we wrote and check out the web sites. Please support your children’s future, as well as this great events. We are all family and everyone wins.

From the heart,

L Condor
